The Ultimate ROI

At Love One, we have the great responsibility and honor of working with children suffering from malnutrition.  But did you know that we also serve these children and families by offering them “spiritual nourishment”?

This past year, we welcomed Pastor Samuel Frances to our team to serve as Director of Spiritual Development.  As a trained Anglican Priest through CRU (formerly Campus Crusade), he is perfectly equipped to help Love One accomplish our mission by tending to the spiritual well-being of the children and families we serve.  Samuel Frances also serves our growing staff and their families in a pastoral role.  We know that if our staff is spiritually healthy and growing, it will pour over into their daily work.

Since joining our team, Pastor Frances has worked with churches and community leaders in local villages.  He has forged new relationships which have allowed Love One to reach more children in need of life-saving care. His role as a pastor is extensive. Pastor Frances is a member of our Resettlement Team making sure that each child returns home with a Bible.  He partners with parents in baptisms, discipleship, and, sadly, walking with families who suffer loss.

We believe that Pastor Frances’ role will produce some of the most significant long-term returns on investments we could hope for in our work at Love One – that of eternal impact!  In fact, it is the ULTIMATE ROI (return on investment).

Pray for Samuel Frances and the entire team as they experience the highs of seeing children healed, people coming to know Christ, and the lows of tremendous suffering.  Pray that the Love One team will remain sensitive to God’s direction and the ultimate hope we all have in Him.
