About Love One
In 2009, Suzanne and Mike Mayernick flew to Uganda to bring their little girl, JosieLove, home to the United States. When they arrived, the twelve-pound 3 ½-year-old they had committed to adopt was very sick. Suzanne and Mike were told that JosieLove had malaria, tuberculosis, and HIV.
After just a few months at home receiving love, attention, and the medical care she needed, this once-dying little girl blossomed into a healthy, thriving child. Watching JosieLove’s transformation sparked a fire inside of Suzanne, and she knew that she was called to help more children like her daughter… so she started Love One. Love One International got its name from JosieLove and the “ + “ sign represents the mission to support the HIV-positive population.
We are so glad you’re here- thank you for coming alongside us in this journey. Because of your support, not only will children in Uganda receive the medical care they deserve, but countless families and communities will hear about the love of Jesus. I cannot wait to see all of the ways the Lord will work through your generosity and the mission of Love One.
